Causality is an issue of importance and interest in all sciences. The conference on

‘Statistics and Causality’

will be held on May 23rd – 24th, 2014 in Vienna. It provides a unique forum for discussing and exchanging ideas and methodological discoveries in the field of causal inference. The conference program covers modules on

• Granger Causality Modeling,

• Methods for the Analysis of Direction of Effects,

• Propensity Score Analysis, and

• Counterfactual Causality Theory and Designs.

We are very happy and honored to welcome guest speakers from the United States of America, Japan, Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria, and look forward to meeting and welcoming all speakers and participants in Vienna in May 2014.
